Description

Story Time:
I found a hornet/bee hive or whatever in one of those Electric outlets. I waited till that evening to dispose of it.
Next morning the little jerks built another one right on my screen door.  Bonus I was able to get some good shots of them. Sad part is I'm allergic to them, so I had to call my neighbor over to kill them because I couldn't open the door.

If he is what i think he [she] is, i took a direct sting behind the ear from one as a child [ten or eleven?] even not being allergic it hurt like a [insert your expletive here].

anyway from a creative standpoint: being shot through a screen, even with a good camera and lens, you got good resolution  and great isolation of the insects face. The patterning in those compound eyes is similar to the great shots in national magazines.
I understand your choice to include your watermark in this one, i have a fair number of pictures that I have not put up anywhere yet because I have not worked through my own process on how i feel about watermarking.
with the limitations of shooting behind the protection of your door / screen, I don't know what creative advice I could offer, you obviously waited for a good moment to take the photo. With a quick look at your insect macros, I see that you have a great sense of composition, esp for your macro work.
Capturing the personality of a tiny subject like this one is a feat, made tougher by the fact that you had to choose your health / life over the critter you just documented.
Nice work, thanks for sharing with us, looking forward to seeing more of your great work.
